TESTIMONIALS (As posted on The Knot)

Lea and Steve's wedding, December 10, 2016

On January 7, 2017, Lea posted, (in part), "Jim was fantastic! We were recommended Jim by a family friend and we are so glad we chose him! Jim took the time to go over in detail the timeline for the day and if there were any specific shots we'd like him to capture. He made a lot of helpful suggestions that we had never thought of. The photos of all our friends and family during the reception enjoying themselves has been wonderful to see. So many of the small special moments that happen organically throughout the night Jim was able to capture. Not only is Jim's work beautiful, but he is prompt, sending us our digitals only a few weeks later! We still haven't decided what our favorites are that we want to print, there are so many to choose from. My parents are still enjoying looking through them all even a month after the wedding has passed. We are thrilled to have such beautiful memories."

Vanessa and Ricky's wedding, June 23, 2016

On October 10, 2016, Vanessa posted, "Jim photographed our wedding in June and he did an amazing job! He was very personable and professional, and the photos he took were beyond our expectations. My husband and I decided to not get a videographer for our wedding so we wanted a photographer that could document our wedding day and tell our story through stills, and that is exactly what Jim did. When we received our photos (which was less than 10 days!) my husband and I were able to relive our wedding day and now we will be able to every time we look at these photos. Jim was amazing at photographing those candid moments and a lot of time we found ourselves asking, "When did he even take that photo?" It was like he was everywhere all at once but doing so ever so discreetly. My husband and I highly recommend Jim Canole Photography and we are so happy and grateful that we chose him for our wedding!"

"Jim was extremely thorough and engaged throughout the entire process. He got all the key pictures but also a lot of creative ones-these are the ones we keep going back to to admire! He's great with candids, and really has a photojournalistic eye; we really felt like we relived the event through the photos."

Christina and Ata's wedding, September 12, 2015

On October 19, 2015, Christina's mother, Phyllis posted, "I have never before written a review, good or bad. I think I felt that just telling people was enough. For Jim, I felt very differently. I was looking to hire a photographer for my daughter's wedding. I chose Jim for his work and essence. Best choice for sure. Jim took some amazing pictures that moved us to tears. He captured the story and mood of the day exactly as it was felt and he did all that without you feeling that he was around or in your face. He captured tears, laughter, the celebration and the love of the day. Jim has such a quiet and gentle style but yet a very professional way of doing his work. I have to say paying for a service and getting great pictures may not be as hard to find, but getting a person who's very pleasant and easy to work with, without any effort? Jim is the one!!!"

Katie and Ander's wedding, August 7, 2015

On September 25, 2015, Katie posted, "I first me Jim five years ago when he photographed my brother's wedding. After working with Jim that day and seeing the photos, I knew I wanted him to shoot my wedding, some day. Jim photographed my Boston wedding and I cannot say enough good things! So many couples have their pictures taken in the Public Garden and I truly find mine are like no other- they're gorgeous, unique and captivating. Candid shots are his specialty and they do not disappoint! I have so many great photos of little moments that would have gone forgotten, if it weren't for Jim. I believe the photographer is the most important vendor...they capture lasting memories and Jim Canole does this with the highest level of expertise and professionalism."

May and Jonathan's wedding, June 13, 2015

On August 19, 2015, Dave, the father of the bride, posted, "Photos that anchor the memory! As father of the bride, I've not much of a role....other than pay the bills. So I do start to think....perhaps the photographer can be cut from the budget? After all there will be all those iPhones there and with upwards of 2000 pictures, it should work? Not! Jim was worth every penny! He knows where to be without being in the way. He photographed from prep time to the last dance and I never really noticed him. But when I saw the shots, they were perfect. The little kids, the grandparents, the expressions, the dancers, the tears, the joys, the laughs....all of it. Yet, most valuable are the shots that capture the love and joy of my daughter and the love-of-her-life, Jon. When the wedding is over and life moves on, what do you have? The picture that will go on the wall, table, desk, etc. to always remind you of the moment. I'm forever grateful to Jim for capturing those images that will keep that moment alive forever. Thanks, Jim. Job well done."
